Peter Luger Steak House
178 Broadway (at Driggs Ave.) Brooklyn
Lunch, Dinner: Daily
Peter Luger's reputation is sometimes larger than the restaurant itself! Folks don't go
here for the ambience or service, but if it's steak you want, you simply can't do better.
The menu makes it simple: your choices are steak for one, two, three or four. The creamed
spinach and steak sauce are out of this world. Tell your waiter to go easy on the whipped
cream if you order dessert. Peter Luger is only a stone's throw from Manhattan (take the
very first right off the Williamsburg Bridge), and the staff is accustomed to ordering cabs.
Making reservations well in advance is suggested.
